Bacti-N

Biofertilizer

Release nitrogen in a natural way

Azotobacter spp. bacteria contained in Bacti-N fix nitrogen from the air, supply it to plants, and prevent its loss from the soil. The addition of molybdenum and iron supports the process of converting nitrogen from the atmosphere into a form available to plants. Humic acids protect microorganisms against a negative impact of low soil pH.

Advantages of Bacti-N

  • The product supplies plants with 15 to 50 kg of pure nitrogen not included in the nutrient balance.
  • It supports the high yield potential in plants, even with a reduced nitrogen fertilisation.
  • It has an advantageous effect on the root system development, increases effectiveness of nutrients uptake, and also counteracts consequences of drought.
  • By increasing the soil microbiological diversity, it supports healthy development of plants through the ‘occupied space’ effect.

Composition

  • Azotobacter spp. at a level of 1×10⁹ CFU per one gram of the product in a medium with humic acids, molybdenum and iron.

About Bacti-N

Bacti-N – it pays off!

A significant reduction in costs of purchase of expensive mineral fertilizer combined with higher yields lead to an increased production profitability. Using Bacti-N, you supply plants with nitrogen in the amount of up to 50 kg, an equivalent of 150 kg of ammonium nitrate.

How and when to use Bacti-N?

Cereals
Rapeseed
Maize
Crop Treatment date Dose [g/ha]
Winter crops • the first treatment can be performed in autumn, after sowing; application with autumn herbicides is possible
• the second treatment should be applied in spring before the vegetation start
120
Spring cereals treatment at the emergence stage
Maize apply by the four-leaf stage

Recommended quantity of water for working solution: 200–300 L/ha.

Spray on the moist soil. No pre-harvest interval required. The formulation should not be combined with fungicides and products containing copper. Avoid a significant exposure to sunlight during treatment. Medium or coarse droplet spraying is recommended.

Did you know that…

bacti-n bakterie azotobacter sppAzotobacter spp. belong to free-living bacteria and this means that, unlike symbiotic bacteria, they do not need legume plants able to form root nodules to fix nitrogen from the atmosphere. Similarly to other nitrogen-fixing bacteria, they can convert nitrogen from the atmosphere into a form available to plants, using nitrogenase.

bacti-n pgprThey are included in the group of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). Apart from supplying nitrogen, a yield promoting compound, they also stimulate production of phytohormones, and promote development of a root system, thus improving plant nutrition status and resistance to adverse environmental conditions.

bacti-n niezwykła efektywnośćThe addition of humic acids, iron, and molybdenum makes Bacti-N a very effective formulation. Only in the presence of molybdenum and iron ions nitrogen-fixing bacteria are able to effectively fix nitrogen from the atmosphere and convert it into a form available to plants. These additives also facilitate fast colonisation of a given habitat by bacteria and an effective assimilation of supplied nitrogen by plants.
